What we keep.
Last updated 4 November 2026. We collect as little as we can to run the site, and we don't sell your information or show ads.
What we collect
- Your email, to log you in and send the emails this site relies on.
- A password, if you set one, stored only as a scrambled hash that we can't read.
- Your profile: your name, handle, bio, categories and links.
- What you post: projects, images, links, applications, messages, deliveries, reviews and reports.
- Your confirmation that you're 18 or older, and when you gave it.
- A scrambled version of your IP address, to stop spam through rate limits. Our host's standard logs may also record requests.
What's public
Your name, handle, bio, categories and links appear on your profile. Open projects can be seen by anyone. Finished projects appear on a public before/after page with the review, unless the requester opted out. Your email is never shown publicly.
Applications are seen by the requester. Messages are seen by the two people in the thread, and by us if someone reports one.
Who helps run this
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores its data and images, and runs the Turnstile bot check on our forms.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, so Google can see your IP address when pages load.
- YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud and Suno only load if you press play on a project, and then their own privacy policies apply.
Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie to keep you logged in. Your browser also remembers your category filter and where you are in the deck. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The Turnstile bot check may set its own.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and posts until you ask us to delete them. Posts and applications you never confirm by email are deleted after 7 days. Login links expire after 15 minutes, and login sessions after 30 days.
Your choices
You can change your profile from your account page, and unsubscribe from "new projects" emails using the link in them. To see, correct or delete your information, email hello@freetndoor.com. We may keep what we need to stop banned people coming back.
Changes
If this changes, we'll update the date above.
