( the terms )

The short version.

Last updated 4 November 2026. By using Freet-n-Door you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What this is

Freet-n-Door connects people who made something with AI ("requesters") with human creators who remake it for free ("creators"). It's a free, low-stakes experiment. There are no payments, tips or fees, and we aren't a party to anything agreed between a requester and a creator.

You need to be 18 or older

You have to be at least 18 to post or apply. We ask you to confirm this, and we'll remove accounts we believe are under 18.

Who owns what

The requester owns the finished work. The creator keeps the right to show it in their portfolio, with the credit "Produced by [name] via Freet-n-Door".

Unless the requester opts out when posting, the finished project gets a public before/after page showing both versions, what was asked for and the review. By posting or delivering work, you let us display it on Freet-n-Door and in our promotion of it.

What you post has to be yours to post

Only post or deliver things you have the right to use. That covers the AI tool's terms, and anything made in the style of, or using material from, someone else. AI output and remakes of it can raise copyright questions that aren't settled. Sorting those out for your own work is on you.

Don't post anything illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or harassing, and don't use this to deceive or impersonate anyone.

Doing the work

A requester picks one creator. After that, how the remake gets done is between the two of you. We don't guarantee anyone will apply, deliver, or be happy with the result. Reviews should be honest, and they can't be edited once posted.

When things go wrong

You can report projects, messages and people, and block people in messages. We can remove anything and ban anyone at any time, with or without notice, if we think it's right for the site.

No guarantees

Freet-n-Door is free and provided "as is". It may change, break or stop at any time, so keep your own copies of your work. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it or from anything users do or post.

Changes and questions
